We had a blast, and our dancers were phenomenal! We’re so proud of their hard work. Miss Mackenzie created amazing choreography, and the float was decorated beautifully! We couldn’t have done it without all of the dancers, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends! Thank you for helping us keep the FDC tradition going!!
Thank you Dean and Keyes Towing for making our parade float possible.
Thank you Peddler’s Alley for supplying our balloons.
During the week of December 7th-12th, FDC students will be able to wear their favorite holiday colors for our Holiday Party Week! In addition, parents will be invited into the dance studios to watch the holiday dances that our teachers have choreographed for the students to perform! At the end of class, our FDC families are invited to enjoy treats and music in celebration of this happy time of year! Please bring a treat to share with everyone if you can! Reminder: we are a nut-free facility. We will not be able to put out any treats containing nuts.
We are already beginning the preparations for our annual recital! The recital will be June 12th at Interboro High School. Dress rehearsal will be on June 11th.
If you do not wish to participate in the recital, an Opt-Out form is due to the front desk by December 1, 2015. If you are in multiple classes and only wish to participate in some of the recital numbers, you need to fill out an Opt-Out form for the numbers you do not wish to dance in during the recital. If you do not fill out an Opt-Out form, you are responsible for all costume payments.
If you pay your costume fees before December 1, you will be able to eligible for our “early bird special.”
Did you take a picture of your dancer during class this week? Do you have a favorite picture of your dancer in a costume from when they were younger? What is your favorite dance photo that you’ve taken?
Send it to us! We love to see pictures of our dancers shining every day, so we have decided to start a photo of the week contest!
Submit your photo by Sunday night to our email: firstname.lastname@example.org or on our Facebook page. Each week we will select a winner on Monday, and put their photo on our Facebook, Instagram, and Website pages! The winner will also receive a free snack coupon to use after class one day!
We can’t wait to see what you send in each week!
Any dancer who ordered a 2015 recital t-shirt, but did not receive it, please tell the front desk. They will make sure to get you your t-shirt!
Any 2015 recital volunteer who did not receive a volunteer t-shirt, please tell the front desk as well! They are available for pick-up.
We also have 2015 recital DVDs and pictures that still need to be picked up!
